1. Introduction

Walden Robotics, LLC ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website waldnerobotics.com (the "Service"). Walden Robotics, LLC is located at 1420 Washington Boulevard, Suite 301, Detroit, MI 48226. We build AI-driven industrial robot arms for manufacturing plants and logistics operations -- specifically designed so plant managers can retask a robot arm in an afternoon without hiring an integrator.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on waldnerobotics.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to information we collect through the Service and through direct communications with you.

Questions can be sent to [email protected] or by calling +1 (313) 553-2914.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you submit directly when you fill out a contact or demo request form, including:

  • Contact details (name, work email, phone number) and company name;
  • Facility information you choose to share (city/state, task type of interest, approximate arm count);
  • Any message content you write to us.

This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry, schedule site visits or calls, and manage the early-access and pilot enrollment process. We do not add you to third-party lists.

2.2 Robot and Workspace Operational Data (Customers)

If your organization deploys a Walden arm unit, the arm and associated task programming software collect operational telemetry to support reliability, safety monitoring, and software updates. This operational data includes:

  • Arm joint positions, cycle times, and motion path logs;
  • Task success/failure status and error codes from on-arm sensors;
  • Collision zone event logs (safety trigger records, not video or imagery);
  • Software version and configuration identifiers.

Operational telemetry is associated with your deployment unit identifier, not with named individuals. It is used for fault diagnosis, performance reporting, remote support, and product improvement. We do not use customer production data -- including robot motion paths, task definitions, or facility layout information -- to train machine learning or AI models without your explicit written consent. Your production process data remains yours.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically (Website Visitors)

When you visit waldnerobotics.com, we automatically collect limited technical information:

  • IP address and approximate location (city/region level, not precise coordinates);
  • Browser type, operating system, and device class;
  • Pages visited, referring URLs, and time on page;
  • Cookie and similar identifiers (see our Cookie Policy).

2.4 We Do Not Knowingly Collect Children's Data

waldnerobotics.com is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to demo requests, schedule site visits, and manage pilot and early-access enrollments;
  • Provide remote commissioning support, operator training coordination, and ongoing technical support for deployed arm units;
  • Monitor robot arm operational health and generate performance reports for customer accounts;
  • Diagnose faults, push firmware and software updates, and improve the reliability and safety of the Walden arm platform;
  • Operate and improve this website;
  • Send service updates and, with your consent where required, relevant product communications;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse or unauthorized access;
  • Comply with legal obligations, including safety recordkeeping obligations applicable to industrial equipment.

We do not sell personal information for monetary value. Where applicable state law treats certain advertising arrangements as a "sale" or "share," see your state's section below.

4. Sharing of Information

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf (such as hosting infrastructure, email delivery, and analytics tools) under contractual confidentiality terms that limit their use of your data;
  • Government authorities or law enforcement when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property;
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy continuing to apply.

We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not share robot operational data with parties outside the support relationship without your consent.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and measure usage. We do not use advertising tracking cookies. For full details and your choices, see our Cookie Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described, to comply with legal or accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. Specifically:

  • Website visitor contact form submissions are retained for up to 36 months from last contact;
  • Robot arm operational telemetry is retained for the duration of the service agreement plus a reasonable period to satisfy industrial equipment safety recordkeeping practices;
  • Inactive marketing-list contacts are purged after 24 months;
  • Server access logs are retained 90 days, then aggregated and anonymized.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, restricted-access databases, and least-privilege access controls applied to operational telemetry. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you suspect a security concern, contact [email protected] immediately.

8. Your General Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, and the ability to limit certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
